Yahoo Pipes
Pipes is pseudo programming. It takes some getting used to, but after some practice, it's an easy way to combine RSS feeds (probably the most common use) or run common logic tasks on a set of data. The entire interface is visual and makes it easy enough to see what's happening to each piece of information.
It's great.

One of the features of Pipes that is most useful is their baked-in badges. If the data contains geocodes, you can produce a map. If the data contains photos, you can create a slideshow. There are many wonderful uses with pipes.
In the upper Midwest--where I'm from--weather is incredibly important. In the winter, it dominates and defines our lives.
We've used pipes to aggregate photos from around the Web. We'll create a pool on flickr, for example, asking people to post snow pictures from a recent storm. We'll also use our own site's photo sharing application and hunt for other related photo feeds from around the Web. Using Pipes, we'll pull them into a slideshow and place it on the homepage.
