Smultron
Smultron is a free text editor for Mac OS X Leopard 10.5. It's simple and very intuitive. There are several viewing options but the standard includes the text editor window and a list of open files in a list on the left.
After saving the file with the desired extension (.html, .xml, .php, .js, etc), the markup is separated by color -- always nice for reading code.
You can also preview HTML-files directly, save snippets of text and insert them simply with a shortcut.
